Alphonsea sclerocarpa is a species of plant in the Annonaceae family. It is endemic to South India, and Sri Lanka.[1] It is known by several local names, including Pulusu mamidi in Telugu and തുട്ട in Malayalam.[2]
Description
A small tree up to 6 meters tall, Leaves are simple and alternate leaves The flowers are in axillary peduncles, The fruit consists of aggregated subglobose berries, typically containing more than two seeds[3]

Flowering: March-October.
