Ankara Medipol University (Turkish: Ankara Medipol Üniversitesi) is a private, non-profit university located in Ankara, Turkey. Established in 2018 by the Turkey Education, Health, Science and Research Foundation, the university started academic activities in the 2018–2019 academic year.[2]
The university offers education in both Turkish and English and focuses on fields such as health sciences, engineering, social sciences, law, and arts.[3]
History
Ankara Medipol University was founded on 18 May 2018 and is part of the Medipol education and health group, which also includes Istanbul Medipol University and Medipol Health Group.[4] It began accepting students in the 2018–19 academic year.
Academics
As of the 2021–2022 academic year, the university had a total of 4,626 students, including 2,974 undergraduates, 55 master’s students, and 20 doctoral students.[1] The university has more than 280 academic staff, including professors, associate professors, doctors, lecturers, and research assistants.[1]

The university’s main campus is located in Anafartalar, in the Altındağ district of central Ankara.[3]
Rankings and Recognition
Ankara Medipol University is recognized by the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YÖK). It is also listed on international university ranking and information platforms.[6]
