"As-Salam al-Malaki" (Arabic: السلام الملكي, literally "Peace be upon the King") was the former national anthem of Kingdom of Iraq from 1924 to 1958. It was a Royal Salute.

It was composed by Iraqi Army Band director Lieutenant A. Chaffon in 1924, a British military officer.[1]
Unofficial lyrics
The author is not clear. But there has been evidence from Iraqi monarchist that used lyrics like this.[2]
