Herbert Charles Edwin Blake (16 March 1908 – 24 April 1986) was an English professional footballer who played as a centre half in the Football League for Bristol Rovers.[1]
Personal life
Blake's uncle Herbert Blake was also a professional footballer.[2] During his time with Bristol Rovers, Blake worked as a schoolmaster at Eastville Boys' School.[2] Blake served in the Royal Artillery during the Second World War.[2]
