Bilay G. Tunkara (also known as Billay or Billy) is a Gambian politician who has served in the National Assembly representing Kantora since 2017. He has served as Majority leader since 2022.[1] He has led Gambian participation in ECOWAS, being elected deputy speaker.[2][3][4] His 2025 request for an inquiry into former president Yahya Jammeh's assets garnered controversy, as it was seen as a "coverup" and "too vague".[5]
