Echinops niveus is a species in the genus Echinops or globe thistles. It is native to the Indian subcontinent, in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, and Nepal.[1]
Nivetin is a neoflavonoid isolated from E. niveus.[2]
