Hexaplex rosarium, commonly known as the rosy-mouth murex, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]
Description
The size of an adult shell varies between 50 millimetres (2.0 in) and 100 millimetres (3.9 in).
Reproduction
The rosy-mouth murex reproduces through sexual reproduction. [2]
Distribution
This species occurs in the Atlantic Ocean from Cape Verde to Angola.
