Pindos (Greek: Δήμος Πινδέων - Dimos Pindeon, before 2001: Δήμος Πυνδαίων - Dimos Pyndaion[2]) is a former municipality in the Trikala regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pyli, of which it is a municipal unit.[3] The municipal unit has an area of 166.219 km2.[4] Population 1,015 (2011). The seat of the municipality was in Stournaraiika. It takes its name from the Pindus mountains.
