The Shorttail chub (Gila brevicauda) is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Leuciscidae, the daces, chubs, Eurasian minnows and related species. This fish is endemic to the Mayo River basin, Chihuahua, Mexico.[2]
