The 2000 Liga Perdana 1 was the third season of the Liga Perdana 1. A total of 12 teams participated in the season.[1]
Selangor, Johor and Perlis were promoted from the Liga Perdana 2.[1] The season kicked off on April 15, 2000.[1]
