Eugene Ambuchi Asike (born 30 November 1993) is a Kenyan international footballer who last plays as a centre back for English Isthmian League club Lancing.
Career
Asike has played club football for Kenya Commercial Bank, Sofapaka and Tusker.[1] In April 2022 he signed for Swedish club Karlstad.[2]
He returned to Tusker on a short-term deal in September 2023 after contractual problems at Karlstad,[3] before moving to England to study at Brighton University, joining Whitehawk in November 2024. [4][5] After 8 league and 1 cup appearance, he left for Lancing in March 2025.[6]
In May 2025, Asike graduated from Brighton University with a qualification in Strength and Conditioning.[7]
He made his international debut for Kenya in 2012.[1]
