Jorge Armando Otálora Gómez (born January 25, 1967) is a Colombian lawyer and politician who served as Ombudsman of Colombia from 2012 to 2016 under President Juan Manuel Santos.[1]Otálora served as Deputy Attorney General of Colombia.[2]
Born in Chocontá, Cundinamarca, he holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Colombia and a specialization in criminal and criminological sciences from the Universidad Externado de Colombia.[3][4]
