Line 2 of the Dongguan Rail Transit (Chinese: 东莞轨道交通2号线; pinyin: Dōngguǎn Guǐdào Jiāotōng Èr Hào Xiàn) is a rapid transit line in Dongguan. The line currently has 15 stations, 14 underground and 1 elevated, and is 37.743 kilometres (23.452 mi) long, from Dongguan railway station to Humen railway station. It opened on 27 May 2016. Construction of Line 2 began on 26 March 2010.[2][3]

Future Development
Phase 3
Phase 3 of Line 2 is 17.1 km in length with 9 stations. Construction started in August 2022. It is expected to open in 2027.[4]
