Christ the Teacher College of Education
Christ the Teacher College of Education (CTCE), located in Appiadu, Kumasi, Ghana, was founded on 24 September 2014. Since its establishment, the college has been dedicated to the mission of providing quality teacher education and has continuously sought to be absorbed as a public institution by the Government of Ghana. This move aims to enhance its capacity to contribute more significantly to national development through the training of competent, ethical, and professional teachers.[1]
Background
The college is committed to academic excellence, moral discipline, and community service. Over the years, it has made notable progress in building educational infrastructure, forming strategic partnerships, and promoting a learner-centered approach to teacher training. CTCE aspires to shape future educators who will play a crucial role in transforming Ghana’s basic education system and uplifting communities across the country.[2]
