Dakrupe Mosque was a mosque built in the Sudanese architectural style in the village of Dakrupe in Savannah Region, Ghana. It was named after the surrounding neighborhood. It was close to the Larabanga mosque.[1] The village is located between Bole and Larabanga.[2]
History
It is claimed the mosque was built in the 19th century.[1][3] It was torn down in 2010 to make room for a larger modern building.[2]
Features
The Dakrupe mosque was similar to the Larabanga mosque but smaller in size.[1]
