Kaungton (Burmese: ကောင်းတုံ; Shan: ၵႂၢင်တူင်ႈ, Kwangtung) is a village in Bhamo Township in Bhamo District in the Kachin State of north-eastern Burma.[1]
Etymology
Kaungton comes from the Shan name Kwangtung (ၵႂၢင်တူင်ႈ[2]), meaning "Sambar's field".[3]
