Kavelan-e Olya (Persian: كاولان عليا, also Romanized as Kāvelān-e ‘Olyā)[1] is a village in Kani Bazar Rural District, Khalifan District, Mahabad County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 201, in 31 families.[2]
