Maikoti is a village situated 18 kilometres (11 mi) from its district headquarters of Rudraprayag, in Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand, India.[1] It is the only village of Vashistha/Vashist/ Bashisthas in Rudraprayag District of Uttarakhand
