Meropidia nitida is a species of hoverfly in the family Syrphidae, and the tribe Milesiini.[1]
Description
The size of the adult female Meropidia nitidia ranges from 9mm-10.5mm.[2] The main colours on the body are yellow and brown.[2]
Distribution
It is known to reside in the Amazon Rainforest, particularly the countries of Bolivia, Colombia and Suriname.
