Samy-Oyame Mawene (born 12 November 1984)[1] is a French retired professional footballer who played as a midfielder.
Personal life
Mawene was born to a DR Congolese father and a French nurse.[2] Samy's older brother, Youl, is the current Fleetwood Town fitness coach.[3] His nephew Noah Mawene is also a professional footballer.[4] His other nephew Theo is a youth player at Brentford B.[5]
