Shenyang Auto (沈阳汽车有限公司) is a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer headquartered in Shenyang, Liaoning. Founded in February 2023 and its actual controller is the Shenyang SASAC.[1]

Shenyang Auto has the qualification to produce complete vehicles and has more than 200 wholly owned and holding companies, including two Hong Kong-listed companies, Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Limited and Xinchen China Power Holdings Limited, and two A-share listed companies, Jinbei Automobile Co., Ltd. and Liaoning Shenhua Holdings Co., Ltd.[1]

History

In August 2023, after the court ruled on the reorganization plan of Brilliance Auto, Shenyang Auto acquired 100% equity of the reorganized Brilliance Auto.[1] On 15 March 2024, 100% of the equity of Brilliance Group was officially transferred to Shenyang Auto, and the industrial and commercial registration department changed the investor of Brilliance Group to Shenyang Auto.[1]
