Spratelloides delicatulus, the blue sprat, also known as the delicate round herring, blueback sprat, or piha, is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Spratelloididae, the small round herrings. This species has a wide Indo-Pacific distribution and has been recorded off Tel-Aviv on the Mediterranean coast of Israel.[2]
