The Sydney Super Cup was a one-off football friendly tournament held in Sydney during November 2022 during a pause in domestic football leagues prior to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.[1][2] Rangers were originally scheduled to participate alongside Glasgow rivals Celtic, but withdrew on 31 March 2022, replaced by English Premier League side Everton.
The tournament was expected to be a bi-annual event but did not return after the first, and so far, only tournament.[3]
