Urbach (German pronunciation: [ˈuːɐ̯ˌbax]) is a town in the district of Nordhausen, in Thuringia, Germany. The town of Urbach was first mentioned in 874, when Ludwig the German granted the Fulda monastery the right to tithes.[3]
