Wallbridge Park is a suburb[1] of Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands district of the county of Staffordshire, England.[2]
History
The land that is now Wallbridge Park originates back to 1535. When it was owned by Dieulacres Abbey. The land was nothing more than a farm and agricultural land.[3]
Since the coming of the industrial revolution, the area experienced rapid housing development for workers and new residents. The area is now a residential area of Leek.[4]
Amenities
The area is primarily residential but is home to a pub, named "The Prince of Wales", a curry house and grocery shop.[5]
Transport
There are regular bus services to Leek town centre from Wallbridge Park.[6]
